Our church family is very friendly and comprised of young and old with diverse ethnic backgrounds. As a church we are all about enjoying God, and making the name of Jesus famous for all the right reasons. The fact that we get to do that TOGETHER is something we do not take for granted.
What's your anchor in life? What are you standing on in life?
As humans, we have a freewill which means God allows us to decide what we are going to believe or accept as truth. What we believe or accept as truth has tremendous implications. It dictates our eternal destiny, changes the lens through which we view life on earth and dictates our thoughts, action, attitudes. As a church, we desire all people to deeply consider Christianity and the truth of and the transforming power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Belief in the Gospel clarifies everything in life (Source of Truth, Nature of Reality, Origin, Narrative of History, Identity, Purpose, Morality, Destiny) and transforms one's life and identity because it gives one the chance to begin a relationship with the God of the universe. The natural outpouring of belief in the Gospel then is to be about enjoying God and making the name of Jesus famous for all the right reasons together with others who believe in the Gospel.
This all involves humbling yourself and taking Steps of Faith:
Where it begins
Salvation
Believer's Baptism
Ongoing
Gather with believers
Servangelize
Read and Meditate on the Bible daily
Pray
Resist sin and Satan
Forgive and seek forgiveness
Give financially
Be discipled and multiply
Intentionally taking Steps of Faith moves one toward being made into a Disciple of Jesus.
We summarize what that looks like with the following:
Champion of Disciple Making
Lover of the Word
Awed by God
Model of Character
Shepherd of Care for People
Warrior of Prayer
Inspector of Culture
Gracious in Speech
Lover of the Local Church
Stander for Truth
All this leads to the vision of Multiplying Disciples, Multiplying Leaders and Multiplying Churches.

About Our Weekly Gatherings
Sunday Morning Prayer 10-10:30am
This is an opportunity for anyone and everyone to come and pray. We have information to help direct prayer if that help is desired.
Sunday Morning Worship Service and FBCS Kids 10:45am
The morning service is about about an hour and 15 minutes in length. The time of worship includes singing, reading of the Scripture, prayer, giving of our financial resources to the Lord and other elements. Our music is a blend of traditional and contemporary. We aim to sing songs that turn our hearts towards God, are full of theological truth, and exalt Jesus Christ. Our pastor teaches from the Bible by examining the original meaning of the text and then helps us to think through how it applies to our lives today.
During the morning service our nursery with qualified, background checked, childcare volunteers is available for parents to leave their infants through pre-k children in. Children in Kindergarten through 6th grade begin in the worship center with their parents. After singing, children will be dismissed to Kid’s Church to hear a Bible lesson and participate in activities focused on the lesson.
Sunday Night FBCS Youth Group 6-8pm
This is a time just for those in 7th-12th grade. FBCS youth meet weekly September through May and then have events during the summer.
Wednesday Night FBCS Kids' Word of Life 6:30-8pm
