ABOUT US

Welcome!

Our church family is comprised of young and old with diverse ethnic backgrounds.
We are all about enjoying God, and making the name of Jesus famous for all the right reasons. The fact that we get to do that TOGETHER is something we do not take for granted.

We invite you to join us!

What's your anchor in life? What are you standing on in life?

An anchor is something that holds fast, steadies, is reliable not just some of the time but all of the time. If your anchor in life is off, everything is off.

Questions to consider:
Would you agree that having a solid anchor in life is crucial?
What is the result of having no anchor in life?
What attributes or characteristics would make the best anchor in life?
Would you want those attributes or characteristics to be true of your anchor just some of the time or all of the time?
Who/what is my anchor in life?

Here is the truth - The One True God of the Bible is the only solid anchor in life (Psalm 46:1-3) and the only way to God is Jesus.

As humans, we have freewill which means God allows us to decide what we are going to believe or accept as truth. But what we believe or accept as truth has tremendous implications - it dictates our eternal destiny and our thoughts, action, attitudes now as it changes the lens through which we view life on earth. As a church, we desire all people to deeply consider Christianity and the truth of and the transforming power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Belief in the Gospel clarifies everything in life (Source of Truth, Nature of Reality, Origin, Narrative of History, Identity, Purpose, Morality, Destiny) and transforms one's life and identity because it gives one the chance to begin a relationship with the God of the universe. The natural outpouring of belief in the Gospel then is to be about enjoying God and making the name of Jesus famous for all the right reasons together with others who believe in the Gospel.
This all involves humbling yourself and taking Steps of Faith:

Where it begins
Salvation
Believer's Baptism

Ongoing
Gather with believers

Servangelize
Read and Meditate on the Bible daily
Pray
Resist sin and Satan
Forgive and seek forgiveness
Give financially
Be discipled in a RAMP Group
Multiply

Intentionally taking Steps of Faith moves one toward being made into a Disciple of Jesus.
We summarize what that looks like with the following:

Champion of Disciple Making
Lover of the Word
Awed by God
Model of Character
Shepherd of Care for People
Warrior of Prayer
Inspector of Culture
Gracious in Speech
Lover of the Local Church
Stander for Truth

All this leads to the vision of Multiplying Disciples, Multiplying Leaders and Multiplying Churches.

Sunday Morning Worship Service 10:45am
The morning service is about about an hour and 20 minutes in length. The time of worship includes singing, reading of Scripture, prayer, giving of our financial resources to the Lord and other elements. Our music is a blend of traditional and contemporary. We aim to sing songs that turn our hearts towards God, are full of theological truth, and exalt Jesus Christ. Our pastor teaches from the Bible by examining the original meaning of the text and then helps us to think through how it applies to our lives today.
